The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine range from 600 to 1000 people killed and wounded daily. This was stated by the commander of the Joint Group of Troops (Forces) in the area of the NVO, General of the Army Sergei Surovikin , RIA Novosti reports .
“Daily enemy losses range from 600 to 1,000 people killed and wounded,” Surovikin said.
He also explained that Russia has a “different strategy”: Russian forces do not strive for high rates of advance, “protect every soldier and methodically “grind” the advancing enemy”, which also allows minimizing losses among the civilian population.
The secretary of the Security Council of Chechnya and part-time commander of the Akhmat special forces Apty Alaudinov said earlier that the situation in the zone of the special military operation is stabilizing, despite the activation of the Ukrainian armed forces.
