The mayor of Ukrainian Kryvyi Rih Oleksandr Vilkul made a statement on his Telegram channel that the city was partially de-energized. He added that the city needs to reduce electricity consumption.
“Krivorozhtsy, attention! Today, from 17.00 to 22.00, it is critically important to reduce electricity consumption,” the mayor wrote.
He explained that industrial enterprises need to completely turn off all energy-intensive equipment, and Vilkul also recommended letting workers go home.
The mayor announced that street lighting in the city will be partially turned off, and the number of city electric vehicles on the lines will be very limited, so residents are advised to stay at home.
He also appealed to the townspeople with a request not to turn on any energy-intensive household appliances. To this end, he urged to turn off all signs in stores.
Vilkul stressed that otherwise the entire city would have to be forcibly shut down.
On the morning of October 10, the Ukrainian media reported on massive rocket attacks on various cities of Ukraine . President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the air raid alert continues across the country.
