“Europe is completely under the influence of political forces. Russia is a football country that can strengthen both Europe and Asia. UEFA will become poorer if it loses us, because we won the Olympic Games, European competitions, and Asia will gain,” Gladilin said.
Recall that the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) decided to remove the Russian national team , as well as all Russian clubs from participating in all competitions controlled by these organizations.
On December 27, the executive committee of the RFU was supposed to vote on the transition to the Asian conference. According to the organization, the meeting has been postponed, but the final decision on this issue will be made by December 31, 2022.
