Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine said that Russia is fighting “actually with the NATO army”

Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Olha Stefanyshina told Newsweek that Russia is “actually” fighting against the NATO army , thus acknowledging the alliance’s involvement in the conflict.

According to her, the conduct of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine gives the Russian military “experience in actually fighting the NATO army, which has already been trained in accordance with NATO standards <...> equipped with the latest NATO equipment,” adding that the “services” of the Russian Federation are “accumulating” data.

Stefanyshina also noted that Ukraine will not agree to a peaceful settlement as long as the Russian Federation poses “any military threat.”
