Members of the Duke of York’s family may be questioned in the case of rape

Family members of the Duke of York may be questioned in a New York court (USA in a rape case, writes The Times.

We are talking about the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson and his two daughters, Eugenia and Beatrice. Plaintiff’s lawyer David Boyce has already offered to interrogate the Duchess of York and the princesses, writes IA Red Spring.

The basis for such a subpoena is the prince’s statement that on the day on which, according to Virginia Giuffre, he was with her for the first time, the prince was in fact at a party with his daughter Beatrice. According to the prosecution, the first intimate meeting between Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre took place in 2001 at the London home of Ghilaine Maxwell.

In an interview with Newsnight in 2019, Andrew said he was with the kids that day and remembered taking Beatrice to a party at the Pizza Express in Woking.
