The Border Directorate of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory reminds residents and guests of the Krasnodar Territory of the ban on the extraction (catch) of mussels in the Black Sea, effective from June 1 to August 31, in accordance with the fishing rules for the Azov-Black Sea fishery basin, approved by order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation dated January 9, 2020 No. 1.
In accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 3, 2018 No. 1321 “On approval of taxes for calculating the amount of damage caused to aquatic biological resources”, the amount of damage caused to aquatic biological resources, one specimen of a mussel caught during the prohibited period is estimated at 44 rubles.
In this regard, the Border Directorate of the FSB of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory draws the attention of citizens to the need for strict observance of fishing rules. In case of detection of offenses, illegally obtained aquatic biological resources and fishing gear are subject to seizure. Persons who have committed offenses will be brought to administrative or criminal liability, depending on the severity of the offense committed.
