Employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Rostov region documented and suppressed the illegal activities of the director of Soyuz Arkhstroy LLC Alexander Vechkanov. This was reported today by the press service of the department.
So, in 2018, A. Vechkanov signed a municipal contract for the overhaul of MBOU secondary school No. 11 in Novocherkassk, the amount of which was more than 59 million rubles. According to the work acceptance certificates, they were completed in full.
The operatives found that, by order of A. Vechkanov, the materials provided for in the terms of reference were replaced with cheaper ones. The damage caused to the Administration of Novocherkassk amounted to 5 million 824 thousand rubles.
The Kirovsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don found A. Vechkanov guilty of committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of Russia, and he was sentenced to 3 years of suspended liberty and a fine of 5 million 824 thousand rubles.
The Rostov Regional Court issued an appeal ruling, according to which the verdict of the Kirovsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don remained unchanged.
The verdict against A. Vechkanov entered into force.
