This year, young residents of the Krasnodar Territory sent over 200 letters to the qualifying stage of the epistolary competition of the Russian Post. Children from the Shcherbinovsky district and Gelendzhik showed particular activity. The two best methodological developments for conducting a writing lesson were submitted to the final of the competition by teachers from school No. 20 with. Mikhailovsky Pass and schools No. 1 st. Staroshcherbinovskaya.
In the first place in popularity among schoolchildren of the region was the nomination “The World of My Hobbies”, dedicated to the Year of Folk Art and Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia. In second place is the nomination dedicated to the study and conservation of the Amur tiger population “Once upon a time there was an Amur tiger. I’m writing a story.” The flagship themes “Letter to Yourself in the Future” and “Recipes for a Happy Family” close.
The epistolary competition “The Best Writing Lesson” is held annually by the Russian Post, Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov and the Trade Union of Communications Workers of Russia. Kuban schoolchildren, university students, students of colleges, cadet corps, art studios who have prepared their competitive works in one of the nominations, as well as directors, teachers of schools and universities, heads of children’s creative associations, youth public organizations of the region – authors of the methodology can become participants in the competition organizing and conducting a writing lesson.
The purpose of the competition is to promote the revival of the traditions of the Russian epistolary genre, to focus the attention of participants on a careful attitude to their native language, to open up an opportunity for teachers to show their professionalism in the development of original methods for conducting a lesson, in which participants in the creative competition will acquire skills in working with writing – business, official, personal.
The results of the All-Russian competition “The Best Writing Lesson” will be summed up in October 2022.
