Bayern Munich shook the current European pass market, after announcing Senegalese striker Sadio Mané, who arrives from Liverpool, a team with which he won six titles between 2016 and 2022.
Mané signed a contract until June 2025, after passing their respective medical exams. The player was transferred in exchange for a figure close to 32 million euros.
“I am very happy to finally be with FC Bayern in Munich. I really have great feelings. So I had no doubts from the beginning: this is the right time for this challenge”, commented the current champion of the Africa Cup of Nations after being made official by the German club.
With Liverpool, Mané won the Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the Champions League, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
With his move to Bayern Munich, the Anfield club frees up a place in attack, where Colombian Luis Díaz will surely have more regularity. Jürgen Klopp’s team had already shielded their attack with the signing of Uruguayan Darwin Núñez.
