Quintero’s suspension generated various comments from politicians from the left, center and right in Colombia:
Coup d’état in Medellin. I ask all citizens and the @IACHR defend the popular vote.
The Attorney General cannot evade the popular mandate.

The @CorteIDH has been clear: the @PGN_COL You may NOT suspend elected officials.
The electoral participation of Daniel Quintero -and of Iván Duque- have been clear. But it is the judges who can sanction them.
Do not continue to put the rule of law at risk!

This is a COUP!
The Attorney General’s office overrides the popular will and tramples on democracy.
But if I see her very quiet while the president @IvanDuque campaigns for Federico Gutierrez at all events.

Good for the Attorney in this case. The Mayor of Medellín put the Constitution and the law as a ruana.
The @PGN_COL it also has the power to suspend the Registrar. https://t.co/CqeuJh9NSd

The pitcher goes into the water so much until it breaks.
It was already good! A president must commit to the obligations that the city demands of him. Little Figurine did not leave one provocation to go on to another.
