After a meeting of more than three hours between the magistrates of the National Electoral Council and the National Registrar, confirmed that the international audit of presidential election software will not be carried out.

The international audit had been requested by the parties and the National Electoral Council itself. To hire this audit, the Ministry of Finance had allocated more than 3,200 million pesos.
The decision not to have an audit was made five days before the presidential elections, which will take place on May 29.
