Zelensky awarded state awards to 212 servicemen

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded state awards to 212 servicemen, 45 of them posthumously.

According to Ukrinform, the relevant decree №334/2022 published on the website of the head of state.

The President awarded awards to Ukrainian defenders for personal courage and selfless actions shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath.

The head of state awarded the soldiers with the orders of Bogdan Khmelnytsky I, II and III degrees, “For Manliness” II and III degrees, the Order of Daniil Galitsky and medals “For military service to Ukraine”, “Protector of the Motherland” and “For the protection of life”.

On February 24, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, announced a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are destroying infrastructure facilities, residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.

The defenders of Ukraine resist the Russian invaders and inflict heavy losses on them. Since the beginning of a full-scale war received state awards more than 13 thousand Ukrainian servicemen.
