Official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova spoke about the reservation of the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrellwho threatened Iran with sanctions “for supporting Ukraine”, referring to Russia.
Borrell, opening the meeting of EU foreign ministers on December 12, accidentally said “Ukraine” instead of “Russia”, promising that sanctions would be imposed against Iran if it “supports Ukraine.”
It is characteristic that Borrell himself did not pay attention to his mistake and did not correct himself – instead of him, this was later done by his press service.
“Such people lead the European Union. The result is obvious. It will get worse,” Zakharova wrote in her Telergam channel.
