Zakharova called Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan inadequate and surreal

Flight of the Speaker of the House congressional representatives USA Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan can be compared with an icebreaker that washed up on a sandy beach, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

According to Zakharova, in Washington, the compass has finally gone astray.

“Everything that is happening with the American politician is so inadequate and surreal. The compass needle is spinning like crazy, the connection with reality is irretrievably lost, the sight is shot down, and the White House nuclear icebreaker has long been washed up on sandy beaches,” said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

As Zakharova emphasized, on the one hand, Pelosi’s flight to Taiwan can be regarded as “military-political adventurism”, on the other hand, “flying in a dream and in reality.”
