Yaremchuk was the first of the legionnaires to join the national team

Benfica striker Roman Yaremchuk yesterday, May 14, arrived to the location of the Ukrainian national team in Slovenia, Ukrinform reports.

The forward was the first of 10 foreign players to join the national team at the Slovenian training camp. On Monday, May 16, Daniil Sikan, Alexander Zubkov and Taras Kacharaba should come to the national team.

Yesterday Yaremchuk was already working at the evening training session of the Blue-and-Yellows.

Striker Artem Dovbik returned to training in the general group, having missed a friendly match with Borussia Mjoenchengladbach due to problems with leg muscles. He, like Viktor Tsygankov, is already close to full recovery.

The match with Borussia (2:1) was the first for the Ukrainian team in 2022. Next week, on May 17 and 18, Alexander Petrakov’s team will play against Empoli and Rijeka.
