53-year-old Stas Mikhailov said that he began to perform less. The popular musician already spoke about this – at the end of September, but then other reasons for “downtime” were announced than now. Is Stas Mikhailov leaving the stage?
During the New Year holidays, Stas Mikhailov participated in the “lights” on both Channel One and Russia, as well as in other concerts. While viewers on January 1 watched on TV “Song of the Year” with his participation (recorded in December), Stas Mikhailov himself sang in Dubai – in a local trendy restaurant (by the way, he celebrated his 53rd birthday here in the spring). Of the nearest concerts, Mikhailov has a performance in Voronezh on March 11, 2023, which has been repeatedly postponed. At first, the concert was moved to later dates due to the pandemic. In the fall of 2022, Mikhailov postponed and canceled several concerts at once and explained this.

On September 26, 2022, Stas Mikhailov made a statement on his social networks: “We are all going through difficult times now! At concerts, I always tried to give a holiday, joy, fun with my songs and my work, but now the reality is different and in the current circumstances, it seems to me that this is not entirely appropriate. Therefore, the team and I made a difficult but right decision – to cancel the concert scheduled for September 29, 2022 in the city of Lyubertsy. We hope you understand this decision. The time for entertainment is yet to come, and we will definitely return to our usual concert format!”
Thus, the intensive tour schedule of Stas Mikhailov was interrupted due to the start of the pandemic – back in 2020, the break continued due to the epidemiological situation in 2021 and early 2022. Further, Stas Mikhailov began to postpone concerts after the start of the SVO, the artist considers it inappropriate to have fun in such difficult times. By the way, Stas Mikhailov had a tour of the cities of Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic planned for the spring of 2023, which was naturally cancelled. Large overseas tours are planned more than a year before the event. Mikhailov’s last big tour of the regions of our country took place in 2019. However, the artist always has performances at private events in stock – they take place “behind closed doors” and make it possible to earn several million rubles at once in an hour. In addition, the artist performs at charity events – in the fall he sang in Belgorod at a charity concert for teachers.

The last two years, Stas Mikhailov, for the first time in his career, spent not on constant tours, but more often next to his family and in a music studio. Thanks to the temporary “downtime”, the artist was able to come to grips with creativity – he recorded and released two music albums. And also began to spend more time with his wife and children. The tour was forced to live in an exhausting schedule. However, Stas Mikhailov is not going to retire yet. Viewers continue to watch the idol in television concerts, and fans listen to old and new songs. In December, Stas Mikhailov released the album “The Da Vinci Code”. There are a lot of rave reviews on social media. “Super album already listened to six times!” “On holidays, both old and new Stas songs were staged for the soul and dances”, “Very soulful music!” A few years ago, stories were published about how women borrowed money or even took credit cards to come to a Mikhailov concert in the nearest city and buy a good place in the hall. Most likely, when, after the break, Stas Mikhailov goes on the next tour, the tickets will be sold out instantly: the fans are tired of waiting.
