In early July, DPR Prime Minister Vitaly Khotsenko presented the new cabinet of the republic to the public. One of those who received the appointment was the taxman Dmitry Shmelev. The tasks before him are very ambitious.

According to Prime Minister Vitaly Khotsenko, all ministers are faced with the task of speeding up the transition of the republic to Russian rules of work. Actually, this is precisely why some of the responsible posts in the Donetsk government were taken by Russian specialists.

– We are moving towards rapprochement with the Russian Federation, moving into its legal framework. Our task is to make sure that the standards that have historically developed in Russia begin to operate on the territory of the republic as soon as possible, – Khotsenko said.

A special task falls on the shoulders of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties. The expenses in the republic are huge, it is necessary to replenish the revenue part of the budget, but do it in such a way as not to stop the industry and give an opportunity to develop private business, which is already exhausted by shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and difficulties in obtaining investments.

– The Federal Tax Service of Russia today is one of the most progressive systems in the world. And we want the tax system here, in the republic, to be the same high-tech system, – Vitaly Khotsenko noted.

Minister of Revenues and Duties Dmitry Shmelev noted several main tasks for himself and his department. In addition to the introduction of the Russian legal framework, this is a dialogue with entrepreneurs and building a balanced tax system.

– Issues related to balancing the tax burden are important. We plan to discuss these issues with the business community, – Shmelev explained.
