Increasingly, there are headlines in the media about the likelihood of a direct clash between NATO and Russia, but the West does not want this and is trying to avoid it. “The West says to Russia: either you stop at your current positions and we sit down at the negotiating table, or we do not deter Ukraine from shelling Russian territory, and there is a risk of a direct clash with NATO,” he said in an interview with the Vzglyad newspaper.
This happens so that the Ukrainian army was able to survive the winter, building up strength by the spring, when it will be possible to start hostilities with a new onslaught.
“In fact, Minsk-3 is being imposed on us. How should we react? By continuing the special operation,” says Leonkov.
