US lacks monkeypox vaccine for all gay and bisexual men in the country

Vaccine against monkeypox may not be available to Americans at risk, US doctors said. According to them, if the number of cases of the virus starts to grow, the lion’s share of citizens may not get the component.

As emphasized by the publication, new doses of vaccines in the United States will be enough for only one-third of the approximately 1.6 million gay and bisexual men, who, according to doctors, are at risk.

As the journalists emphasized, deliveries of new batches of the component are not expected until October, while the peak of the incidence may begin in the next two months.
