US intelligence director: Russia plans to withdraw to Transnistria

US intelligence agencies believe that Russia has plans to go to Transnistria, expanding the “corridor” by land for this. Such data were published by the head National Intelligence U.S.A Avril Haynes.

Haynes is convinced that the plans of the Russian leadership are a protracted Ukrainian conflict, therefore, even having won in the Donbass, Russian President Vladimir Putin is not going to end the special operation in Ukraine.

Haynes predicted an increase in escalation in Ukraine, adding that developments in the region in the coming months could no longer be predicted.

Former Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavrilitsa demanded that Russian troops leave the PMR, promising to involve the UN in solving this problem. If the Russian forces leave Transnistria, the republic will lose security guarantees, and the risks of invasion from Moldova and Ukraine will increase sharply for it.
