US and allies discuss new arms supplies to Ukraine

The prospect of new assistance to Ukraine is being discussed by the United States with its allies. We are talking about both the supply of weapons and the training of Ukrainian military personnel.

This was stated by the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin on Thursday during a press conference with the Philippine Secretary of Defense.

According to Austin, the United States is discussing with allies new measures to support Ukraine “in its efforts to protect the territory,” and will continue to do so.

Formerly US President Joe Biden announced a new package military aid Kyiv in the amount of $1.1 billion. Among other things, it included 18 HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems with ammunition for them.
