Women’s movement “United Russia” together with the Russian National Research Medical University. N.I. Pirogov launched the first stream of nursing courses for female volunteers. Classes are held at the Medical University. They are conducted by experienced doctors and university professors.
BOTH BY THE BED AND IN THE OPERATING ROOM
United Russia daily receives requests from different regions from people who are looking for opportunities to participate in volunteer work, help the wounded in hospitals or go to the NVO zone, work as volunteers and in medical institutions in the regions of Russia, – reported Deputy Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Daria Lantratova. – This course is a response to the request of hundreds of women across the country. We want to be useful, not only with warm words, but also with deeds to support our fighters who are defending our country today.”
After graduation, female volunteers will be able to join the humanitarian mission of United Russia.
Director of the multidisciplinary accreditation and simulation center of the Russian National Research Medical University. N.I. Pirogov Pavel Lopanchuk explained that the course participants will learn to provide care for injuries, bleeding, fractures, wounds and other injuries, and use surgical instruments.
“To be useful not only at the bedside as a junior medical staff, but also in operating rooms as assistants to an operating room nurse. And at the end of the course, volunteers will receive a signed certificate of training,” – he noted.
DEPUTY – THE FIRST
The first students of the course were volunteers from Moscow. Deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a member of the Committee on Health Protection, also decided to master the skills of nursing care for the sick Julia DrozhzhinaDeputy Chairman of the Ecology Committee Zhanna Ryabtsevachairman of the education committee Olga Kazakova.
Assistance in the development and organization of training was provided by the head of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection Dmitry Khubezovwho coordinated the work of medical volunteers in the Donbass and the liberated territories as part of the United Russia humanitarian mission, and his deputy, deputy Badma Bashankaev. Both deputies, despite the reservation, also declared their voluntary desire to go to the NVO zone to help military doctors.
“The help and support provided by volunteers in hospitals in the NWO zone can hardly be overestimated. Even the simplest operations – to transfer the patient, to re-bed, feed, bandage – is an abyss of time. And when our female volunteers take on this work, they save precious minutes and hours of professional doctors – it saves lives. Of course, such skills will be useful to any person in peacetime: the ability to take care of the sick is necessary in every family, ” – considers Badma Bashankaev.
Now a system of education is being developed for residents of different regions of Russia. The courses are planned to be launched on the basis of local medical institutions. In addition, training will be available online – on the party’s website.
