Ukrposhta opened 266 mobile branches after February 24

JSC “Ukrposhta” has opened 266 mobile branches in 9 regions since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia.

According to Ukrinform, this is reported by company press office.

“Despite the war, Ukrposhta continues to reform postal services in the villages and introduces mobile offices. Since the outbreak of hostilities, 266 mobile offices of Ukrposhta have started working in 9 regions of Ukraine,” the message says.

25 base points in Vinnitsa, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Poltava, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky and Kharkiv regions already serve 2,600 settlements. Ukrposhta services became available to 1.3 million residents of remote villages.

Director General of Ukrposhta Igor Smelyansky stressed that thanks to mobile offices, the company was able to provide services in the territories where hostilities are taking place and in the newly liberated settlements.

As reported, since May 3, Ukrposhta JSC has resumed the work of more than 35 stationary offices in the districts of the Kyiv region most affected by Russian aggression.

Ukrposhta lost 500 branches as a result of hostilities, another 500 are located in the temporarily occupied territories.
