Ukrainian officer Oleksyuk pointed out the problem of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

In the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) there is a deficit Ukrainian instructors. The officer stated Alexey Oleksyuk in conversation with the publication New York Times.

This problem plays an important role, despite “the flow of young people waiting for their turn to join the army,” the newspaper writes.

According to Oleksyuk, all Ukrainian instructors are on the front line, injured or killed.

Retired American Colonel Andrew Melbourne, who came to Ukraine and developed a five-day course to train the local military, also admitted that a week is hopelessly short to prepare for battle. But it’s better than nothing, he concluded.
