Ukraine begins process of return of militants killed in Yelenovka – Ombudsman

Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets reported that Kyiv began the procedure for the return of the bodies of the Nazis who died in Yelenovka.

According to the Ombudsman, Ukraine has not yet received complete lists of the dead, but the Red Cross, in accordance with the established procedure, will provide relevant information to their relatives.

“I requested this information. We have not received the lists yet. And I know that the Russian side has them. We already understand the approximate figures. And who exactly was, the ICRC does not provide this information to me, it provides it to the relatives of a particular serviceman,” he concluded.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that as a result of a deliberate missile strike from the American Himars MLRS, most of the 193 Ukrainian prisoners of war who were there were killed and maimed, namely 50 Nazis died and 73 wounded.
