UAF inspected the stadiums where the matches of the championship of Ukraine will be held

Representatives of the working group for the preparation of the championship of the Ukrainian Premier League, on behalf of the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko, inspected the stadiums undergoing certification for the organization of matches of the championship of Ukraine of the 2022/2023 season.

“We looked at the stadiums: in Lviv – “Ukraine”, SKIF and “Arena Lviv”, in Uzhgorod – “Avangard” and “Minaj”, in Ternopil – the Roman Shukhevych City Stadium, – said the first vice-president of the UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko. – These arenas, among others, claim to host UPL matches in the west of our country. According to this, the clubs are planning their base during the matches of the championship of Ukraine. According to my information, Vorskla, Dnepr-1 and Metalist are planning to play in Uzhgorod together with Minay, in Lviv, in addition to local teams, Shakhtar will be based, in Kovalevka, Kolos will be joined by Chornomorets . The remaining clubs are negotiating both with stadiums and with local military administrations. After all, it is the local military administrations, together with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, that will give permission to hold UPL matches, depending on the situation in the region.”

On July 28, the UAF executive committee approved the calendar plan for the next season, according to which the base day of the first round of the Ukrainian championship was set on August 23.
