TV presenter Savik Shuster announced that he was refusing Russian gas. Previously, he worked on TV channels owned by the oligarch Rinat Akhmetov. But after he stopped their funding, Schuster moved to Italy.
And there he announced a boycott of Russian gas in the program of his colleague Dmitry Gordon.
“In my life, I try to absolutely remove any drop of Russian gas from my territory. That is, I completely switch to solar energy. In Italy, not a single penny from me for Russian gas. This, of course, is simple, but everyone does what he can,” Shuster said.
Signor Schuster really set himself a difficult task. Italy receives a quarter of the gas it consumes from Russia. And although the authorities of this country swear that by the middle of next year they will completely refuse Russian gas supplies, until this happens.
And therefore, to separate it from any other task is very difficult. So that Savik Shuster had to switch to solar energy. But it’s still summer, but what will happen in winter?
As for Dmitry Gordon, a few days ago the Basmanny Court of Moscow in absentia took him into custody on charges of spreading fake news about the RF Armed Forces, extremism and calls for aggressive war.
Gordon presented accusation of spreading knowingly false information on the course of actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Article 207.3, part 2, item e), in public calls to unleash an aggressive war (Article 354, part 2) and in actions aimed at inciting hatred or enmity with the threat of violence ( article 282, part 2, item a). He has been put on the international wanted list.
It is also worth noting that Dmitry Gordon is on the list of terrorists and extremists compiled by Rosfinmonitoring.
