Technical work on preparations for the opening of grain corridors from Ukraine has been completed, after the coordination of administrative issues, shipment will begin as soon as possible.

In particular, it is noted that Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar discussed preparations for the work of “grain corridors” with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov.
“There was an exchange of views on the latest situation around the activities of the Joint Coordinating Center in Istanbul regarding the preparation of grain shipment. The ministers noted that the technical work has been completed and after the administrative issues are resolved, it is planned to start shipping as soon as possible,” the ministry said in a statement.
In addition, it was noted that the work of the staff of the Joint Focal Point in Istanbul is going well.
As reported, on July 22 in Istanbul, as a result of a quadripartite meeting of Ukraine, Turkey, the UN and the Russian Federation, an agreement was signed according to which grain and other food products will be legally imported from the ports of Ukraine.
According to Turkish media, the first caravan of 16 ships will soon depart from the ports of Ukraine. The arrival of the first ship in the territorial waters of Turkey is expected on August 3, then further ships will go to Africa.
