Truss calls for emergency NATO summit over Ukraine strikes

British Prime Minister Liz Truss called on members of the North Atlantic Alliance to hold an emergency NATO summit in the coming days because of the strikes in Ukraine.

As Truss emphasized, in addition, the EU and the West should tighten their sanctions policy against Russia.

“No one wants peace more than Ukraine. For our part, we must not weaken our determination to help them win one iota,” Truss said at a briefing.

In addition, the “problems” of Ukraine are going to be discussed at the G7 summit, in which the President of the Independent Vladimir Zelensky.
