Tropical Storm Karl formed in the Gulf of Mexico; it is expected to impact Veracruz

The National Water Commission (Conagua) reported this Tuesday that at 4:00 p.m. Tropical Storm “Karl” formed in the Gulf of Mexico.

It was located 195 kilometers east-northeast of the port of Veracruz, with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour,

Although the storm has an erratic and slow movement towards the northwest at 9 km/h, if it continues with this trajectory, it is expected to make landfall on the Veracruz coast next Thursday, October 13.
