According to an Ukrinform correspondent, this was stated on his web page facebook wrote Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Yulia Kovaliv.
“The City of Toronto is handing over ambulances to Ukraine. The vehicles are equipped with basic first aid supplies from Toronto paramedics,” Kovaliv said.
She added that “Toronto and Kyiv have a special sister city relationship, and today’s announcement proves the importance of such ties.”
“The destinations of these cars are the medical centers of the Kyiv region – settlements near Bucha, Vasilkov and Vyshgorod… Canadians are well aware of the names of these places from the news. These are places that have suffered greatly from the Russian occupation,” the ambassador said.
