Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko called on the participants of the Cannes Lions International Festival to invest in the Ukrainian economy.

The minister noted that he took part in a panel at the Cannes Lions Creative Festival – a global meeting place for leaders of the communication and marketing industries, where he told representatives of the largest media, marketing, communication companies of the world not only about the losses and needs of Ukrainian culture and media during the war, but also about the overall economic potential of our country, in which they must invest now, so as not to miss their chance to be the first.
Tkachenko added that it is necessary to invest in the areas of our economy, which already now occupy leading positions in the world, and after the war they will reach a fundamentally new level.
“This year, our creatives received awards for branding the island of Khortytsya, Chernobyl and other projects for the visualization and digitalization of cultural heritage,” Tkachenko added.
As reported, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is a global event for those employed in creative communications, advertising and related industries. The festival is considered the largest gathering of professionals, designers, digital innovators and marketers in the world. The Cannes Lions is the most coveted and revered award in the global advertising and creative industry.
