After the armed attack suffered by the journalist, the capital authorities managed to arrest 11 people allegedly related to the events.
The head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, reported that in total they made sure two vehicles related to the criminal cell that would have orchestrated the armed aggression. According to the investigations, one of them would have been used by the criminals to flee.
“Two vehicles related to the criminal cell were seized, one of them participated in the escape from attackers”, announced the capital’s president through her social networks.

Although it was not reported where the seizure took place, it was indicated that elements of the Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC), the capital’s Prosecutor’s Office and the State of Mexico Prosecutor’s Office participated in these actions.
