It is worth mentioning that, after carrying out investigative and intelligence work, it was learned that the detainee is apparently related to a group generating violence that operates mainly in the eastern part of Mexico City, colloquially known as the Tláhuac Cartel.
In addition, after cross-checking information, it was learned that he has four admissions to the Penitentiary System for Crimes Against Healthtwo in the year 2022, and one in the years 2020 and 2021 for the same crime.
In November 2022, three other alleged members of the Tláhuac Cartel, identified as “El Churro”, “El Bisco” and “El Pompi”, were arrested. The events occurred in the municipality of Chalco, State of Mexico, where the criminal group was disputing control of the territory with members of the Michoacan Family.
It was under this scenario that in mid-November the murder of a member of the Michoacana Family. Now, the Mexican authorities have captured the alleged perpetrators.
According to the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), those now detained were identified as members of the Tláhuac Cartelwhich would dispute the square with the Michoacan Family for territorial control in the municipality of Chalco.
The events for which they were arrested were recorded on Saturday, November 19, in the municipality of Chalco. On that occasion, the three subjects they intercepted Jesus San Miguel (the victim of the crime) on San Juan Tezompa street.
