“There were four of us. Two left”

Russian performer Dmitry Malikov took the unexpected to heart departure from life his colleague, former soloist of the group “Tender May” Yuri Shatunov.

Malikov noted that he and Shatunov were among the four most popular performers in Russia in the early 90s. But, unfortunately, from this four, despite their rather young age, today only two musicians have survived.

“There were four of us: Shatunov, Presnyakov, Belousov and Malikov. Pop heroes of the late 80s – early 90s. There are two left. Blessed memory of Yura and Zhenya!” Malikov said.

Earlier, the director of Shatunov, Arkady Kudryashov, said that the 48-year-old artist’s heart stopped at night. This happened in an ambulance that arrived on a call to a musician who suddenly felt ill.
