The world does not recognize the pseudo-referendum in the Kherson region

The pseudo-referendum on the illegal “annexation” of the temporarily occupied territories of southern Ukraine to Russia will not be recognized by the international community.

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, this was stated by the acting President during a meeting of the UN Security Council. EU Permanent Representative to this organization Tibolt Kameli.

“We condemn the announced preparations for a staged “referendum” in parts of the Kherson region on the issue of joining the Russian Federation. The international community does not recognize the results of this illegal referendum,” Kameli said.

He also once again called on Russia to “immediately stop the war, unconditionally stop all shelling and withdraw all equipment and personnel from the entire territory of Ukraine.”

“In response to Russian aggression, the EU, together with partners, remains unwavering in its support for Ukraine in its courageous defense of its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the diplomat stressed.

As reported, the Security Service of Ukraine has documented that Russia has begun an active phase of preparing a pseudo-referendum on the illegal “annexation” of the temporarily occupied territories in the east of our state.

As evidenced by the array of information collected by the Ukrainian special services, the enemy plans to use the pro-Russian organization “Donetsk Republic” to carry out the so-called “expression of will”.

Previously, it operated only on the territory of the DPR terrorist organization, but now its geography is expanding. Accordingly, the enemy plans to change the name. The most likely option that the invaders will choose is “big Russia”.
