The US House of Representatives voted for an additional allocation of $ 40 billion to Ukraine

The Senate will consider the aid package before the end of the week to approve it and send it to US President Joe Biden for signature.

The document provides for an increase in funding for the president’s powers to $11 billion.

The decision will allow the Biden administration to send military equipment and weapons from US stockpiles, which is one of the main ways to promptly supply Ukraine with military equipment.

For these purposes, Biden asked Congress for $33 billion, but lawmakers decided to allocate another $3.4 billion for military assistance and the same amount for humanitarian issues.

The $33 billion was to be distributed as follows:

$20.4 billion in military aid;
$8.5 billion in economic aid:
$3 billion to address humanitarian issues and global food security issues.

US President Joe Biden signed lend-lease law for Ukraine: This is a historic event 81 years later, when in 1941 the state act of the States allowed the supply of ammunition, equipment, food, medical equipment and medicines, strategic raw materials, including petroleum products, to its allies in World War II without payment.

At 4 am on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in the occupied Donbas. Russia launched missile strikes on Ukrainian territory and launched a direct full-scale invasion in four directions. The armed forces of Ukraine are rebuffing the enemy, the blitzkrieg plan – to capture Kyiv in two or three days – failed, the Russian army retreated from the capital. The Russian military commits thousands of war crimes and crimes against humanity throughout Ukraine.
