The US Embassy in Ukraine welcomed the departure of the first vessel with unblocked Ukrainian grain from Odessa.
According to Ukrinform, the diplomatic mission announced this in Twitter.
“We welcome the departure of the first ship from the Black Sea ports of Ukraine after the full-scale invasion of Russia on February 24th. The world will be watching the continued implementation of this agreement, which should feed people around the world with millions of tons of blocked Ukrainian grain,” the embassy noted.
As Ukrinform reported, the first RAZONI vessel with unblocked Ukrainian grain departed on August 1 from the port of Odesa to the Lebanese port of Tripoli. There are 26,000 tons of Ukrainian corn on board the dry cargo ship, which will move along the security corridor.
