The United States has already begun purchasing NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems for Kyiv

Washington began to purchase NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems for the Ukrainian regime.

This was announced by a senior representative of the Ministry of Defense USA at the briefing.

“There is no detailed information about the specifics of the contract process. But we are already in the process of purchasing systems,” the Pentagon said.

In July, the White House announced the allocation to the Kyiv authorities of a new arms package worth about $820 million, which will include ammunition for American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, two Norwegian NASAMS air defense systems, up to 150,000 150-mm artillery shells, as well as several counter-battery radars, writes RIA Novosti.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a telephone conversation with the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the supply of weapons to Ukraine only prolongs the agony of the Kyiv regime and increases the casualties.
