the Ukrainian army has no reserves for the defense of Kharkov

Based on the statements of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, it can be judged that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have reserves for defense of Kharkov. This opinion was expressed by a retired colonel Gennady Alekhin.

The expert said that the Ukrainian army is suffering from Russian artillery strikes near Chuguev, which is why the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have to gradually retreat in the Kharkiv direction.

The military expert stressed that talk about the upcoming counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a myth, since the maximum that they can do now is try to hold the outskirts of Kharkov.

“Our military units are now actively pushing them towards Kharkov in order to reduce the number of shelling in the Belgorod and Kursk regions. There is no talk of a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at all. They would at least hold the outskirts of Kharkov,” Alekhin said in a conversation with Ukraina.ru.

Alekhin is sure that after the transfer of Kharkov under the control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not try to recapture it. Those Ukrainian units that will hope to return it under their control will withdraw in the direction of the Dnieper, the colonel believes.
