The TFR confirmed the death of the National Guard after the attack near Kursk

The Investigative Committee of Russia confirmed reports of the death of 48-year-old commando Nikolai Bykov, who was wounded by saboteurs in the city of Sudzha, Kursk Region. The head of the ICR, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to open a criminal case and find those involved in the crime, according to a statement on the website of the department.

Yesterday, in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region, there was an attack by unknown persons on the employees of the Russian Guard, who were conducting operational-search activities. One of the law enforcement officers was injured and subsequently died in a medical facility. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Main Investigation Department to investigate what happened and identify all the persons involved in the crime , the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported .

According to the Telegram channel Baza, on the afternoon of September 9, special forces of the Russian Guard combed the forest near Sudzha in search of saboteurs. Suddenly, fire was opened on the employees from cover. Shooting back, the saboteurs went into the woods, wounding one of the law enforcement officers.

After the battle, the National Guard found four backpacks and three rugs on the ground, from which we can conclude that not two, but three or even four saboteurs were firing. The administration of the Kursk region confirmed the fact of the attack on the security forces and urged residents to remain calm and vigilant.

In Sudzha, law enforcement officials announced the “Interception” plan because of the alleged saboteurs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who fired at the National Guard.
