The Telegraph predicted the collapse of German industry without Russian gas

Germany expects recession in the economyif Russia stops supplying gas to the country, reports a British newspaper columnist The Telegraph Tim Wallace.

If Russia cuts off fuel supplies to Germany, then the main branches of German industry will be in danger of destruction, the author of the article believes. Such a scenario will cause a domino effect in other areas.

Commerzbank specialists predict that the shortage of Russian energy resources will cause a deep recession in the German economy. This crisis can be compared to the one that occurred in 2008.

Earlier, Gazprom reduced gas supplies via Nord Stream to 20%. The reason for this decision was the difficulties with the return from repair and maintenance of equipment that arose after the imposition of sanctions.
