The Russian occupiers thus pursued their criminal goals – to accuse Ukraine of committing “war crimes”, as well as to hide the torture of prisoners and executions committed there on the orders of the occupation administration and command from the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region. The consequences of the shelling are being clarified, ”the message says.

As noted, according to the information of the commander of the Rocket Forces and Artillery of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not inflict rocket and artillery strikes on the area of ​​​​the settlement of Olenevka.”

On July 29, Russian propaganda media, citing the so-called “headquarters of the territorial defense of the DPR,” reported that as a result of an alleged attack by the Ukrainian military on a penal colony in Yelenovka, where prisoners of war were kept, 53 people were killed and 75 more were injured.
