The satellite recorded how the Russian invaders began to transport military equipment near Kherson by a separate crossing

Confirming pictures published by journalists “Schemes” (Radio Liberty).

This is already the second crossing built by the occupiers after the accurate strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Antonovsky automobile and railway bridges. As previously reported by British intelligence, Russian troops built two pontoon bridges near Kherson and equipped a ferry crossing to compensate for the damage to these bridges.

A ferry crossing for military equipment first appeared on Planet Labs satellite images on August 1 – near the village of Prydniprovske, Kherson region. By the time the satellite fixes it, you can see 6 pieces of equipment at the crossing, and 4 more on the shore.

This ferry crossing was erected next to the Antonovsky railway bridge, the movement through which was blocked for the Russian army as a result of accurate missile strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the report of the operational command “South”.

According to Nikolai Beleskov, a military expert and analyst at the National Institute for Strategic Studies, the equipment that the Russian military transports in this way is similar to tilt trucks. They are usually used to supply supplies: weapons, ammunition, food, etc.

“As far as I understand, these ferries are not very capacious in terms of the amount of equipment that can be transported at one time. The satellite image shows tilt trucks, possibly KAMAZ trucks, usually carrying supplies,” Beleskov explained.

Another pontoon crossing near the second Antonovsky automobile bridge damaged by Ukrainian missile strikes was previously reported by Russian propaganda media, emphasizing that civilians were being transported in this way.

The satellite recorded the operation of this crossing.

In addition to the Antonovsky automobile bridge in occupied Kherson, on the night of July 27, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also hit the railway bridge, located slightly upstream of the Dnieper.

As reported, on July 27 in Kherson, the invaders blocked traffic along the Antonovsky bridge, which received significant damage after a night attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Published damage video on the Antonovsky bridge in occupied Kherson.

In addition to the Antonovsky automobile bridge in occupied Kherson, the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the night of July 27 hit the railway bridgelocated just upstream of the Dnieper.

At 4 am on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in the occupied Donbas.
