The Russian army hit fortified area Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Maryinsky direction with the help of a new multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) “Tornado-G”.
According to RIA Novosti, the new installation is an improved version of the Grad MLRS. It is noted that it is actively used by the fighters of the Western Military District (ZVO), performing the tasks of a special operation.
According to the agency, during the hostilities in the Maryinsky direction, the Russian Armed Forces used 122-mm rockets and hit the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian army was literally burning out the headquarters and fortifications of Ukrainian militants. The department also emphasized: MLRS “Tornado-G” successfully hit the enemy’s manpower, artillery, mortars and columns of heavy equipment.
In addition, these systems allow Russian operators to control the operation of reconnaissance drones.
