On August 3, the Cup of Regions UAF-2022 starts in Ukraine.
Football players take part in the competition regional teamsfor which only those players who have never had professional contracts have the right to play, Ukrinform reports.
In total, 10 teams will take part in the competition this year – Cherkasy, Poltava, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Vinnitsa, Khmelnytsky, Lvov and Volyn regions.
At the first stage will play:
Poltava region – Donetsk region
Cherkasy region – Zhytomyr region
Ivano-Frankivsk region – Chernivtsi region
Vinnitsa region – Khmelnytsky region
Lviv region – Volyn region.
The first stage will consist of one match, during the second stage one pair of teams will play a duel, and the other three teams will automatically go to the 1/2 finals according to a blind draw. The semi-final pairs will also be determined by a blind draw.
