Information about the details of military operations, voiced by “informed” persons on social networks, harms the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
About this in Telegram Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar wrote, Ukrinform reports.
“Even if you have your own sources of information at the front, you don’t need to write details of the military operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on social networks. Moreover, the sources at the tactical level do not know the whole situation as a whole, because they have an idea only about a fragment,” Malyar said.
In particular, according to her, two former people’s deputies and one current one began to write about weapons used in the Kherson direction, about good news from Kherson, about busy streets in Kherson, etc., and this harms the Armed Forces.
Malyar stressed that information about the liberation or loss of the settlement, provided before the completion of the operation, is considered incorrect.
The Deputy Minister added that during the war, military information is deliberately submitted with a delay in time. This is a rule of informing under martial law, which is due to military expediency during operations and security measures, she said.
“This means that the disclosure or distortion of information about the details of the military operation before official sources (the Ministry of Defense or the Armed Forces of Ukraine) announced it harms our Armed Forces and complicates the fulfillment of the assigned tasks,” the Deputy Minister emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported, according to the General Staff, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 34,430 Russian invaders from February 24 to June 23, which is 200 more than the previous day.
