Between applause and siren sounds they fired Nicholas Santa Gadea, who died in the tragic accident of Latam at the Jorge Chávez International Airport. Relatives, colleagues and friends came to the premises of the Garibaldi Fire Company 7 in Callaothe favorite place of this young firefighter who visited since he was very young.
His companions paid tribute to him on their last tour of Nicolás’s coffin at Garibaldi 7. He is his father Roberto Santa Gadeawho tearfully had to say goodbye to his son from his second home, just as it was this season.
In this way, they said goodbye to their friend so that he could be transferred to the Parque del Recuerdo cemetery in Oquendo in one of the vehicles of the Fire Company. Likewise, his uniform and his equipment with which he attended emergencies to save people’s lives were placed.

Nicolás always saw his father Roberto who was going in the direction to save lives, so he wanted to do the same from a very young age. In addition, thousands of people came to say goodbye to the young firefighter.
“I remember when I came to the company with my grandfather to see my father and I remember that he ran with the other firefighters to get dressed when the siren sounded and I couldn’t go because I was very small and the only thing I could do was open the door. with my grandfather and he told me that at some point my time would come to go out,” Nicolás recounted in an interview in 2016 on TV Peru.
