Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov appreciated the “three steps towards peace” proposed leader of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
Earlier, Zelensky, at a meeting with the heads of the G7 countries, proposed a “peace formula” in Ukraine, which includes three steps. Thus, the Ukrainian president attributed here the continuation of arms supplies within the framework of “achieved solidarity.”
According to Peskov, this “peace formula” looks exactly the opposite.
“These are three steps to continue hostilities,” Peskov said.
The Kremlin representative recalled that the current events in Ukraine are a consequence of the policy of the Kyiv regime, which has been carried out for the past 15-20 years. And today the Ukrainian side will have to reckon with the new realities that have emerged during this period, whether they like it or not.
“And these realities indicate that new subjects have appeared in the Russian Federation, and they appeared as a result of referendums that took place in these territories. Without taking into account these new realities, any progress is impossible,” Peskov told the press.
