To date, Russian President Vladimir Putin has no plans of contacts with French leader Emmanuel Macron. Such a statement on Monday, December 26, was made by the press secretary of the head of the Russian state, Dmitry Peskov.

“No,” said a Kremlin spokesman, when asked if the Russian leader was planning contact with the French president.

As Peskov noted, if such a contact appears on the schedule, then this will be reported in a timely manner.

Recall that the French president believes that direct contact with the Russian leader is important for the resumption of interaction between the countries. As the KP.RU website wrote, according to Macron, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict will end in negotiations, and he sees no other options.
